Drawing a cornstalk may seem like an intimidating task, but with the right tools and technique, it can be one of the most rewarding creative experiences. To draw a cornstalk, all you need is a pencil, an eraser, and plenty of patience.

First, determine how tall you want your cornstalk to be. To create a realistic looking stalk, draw a curved line from the bottom to the top of your paper. Then, draw five to seven smaller curved lines branching off the main stalk. These will be your ears of corn.

Next, draw the leaves of your cornstalk. Start with a couple of oval shapes near the top of the stalk, and then draw several more oval shapes on either side. Make sure to draw them at different angles so they look like they’re being blown by the wind. When you’re finished, add some extra detail in the form of veins and stems in the leaves.

Now, draw the husks of your ears of corn. Start at the base of each ear, and then draw a few curved lines going up and around the ear like a spiral. To add more realism, draw some smaller curved lines on either side of the larger curls. Finally, draw a few grains of corn on each ear for the finishing touch.
