How To Draw A Eye Easy

Drawing an eye can seem like an intimidating task, but with a few tips and tricks, you can master the art of creating a realistic and detailed eye in no time. With just a few simple steps, eye-catching eyes are only minutes away.

First, start with the basics. You want to sketch out the eye first, starting with the lid and then going around the circle of the eyeball. As you do this, don’t forget to add in any details, such as the lashes, iris and pupil. Go over your initial sketch with a pencil, or use light colored pencils, depending on the look you’re going for.

Then, you can use an eraser to create the highlights and mid tones of the iris and pupil, giving them a more realistic look. Don’t forget to use an array of shadows and highlights, as this will make the eye stand out more. All you have to do is lightly shade darker tones to outline the iris and pupil, and use a little bit of white to make the highlights pop.
