How To Draw A Bird Cage

Drawing a bird cage is not as daunting a task as one might think. With just a few materials and these simple step-by-step instructions, you’ll soon be creating your very own bird-friendly habitat in no time!

First and foremost, gather all the materials that you’ll need to complete the project. You’ll want to make sure you have some art supplies – graphite pencils, pencil eraser, charcoal pencils, sketch paper, and a blender or kneaded eraser. You will also need a ruler, a compass, and a circle template.

To start, make sure you have your sketch paper placed flat against a solid surface. Using a compass or circle template, draw a circle that will represent the exterior of your bird cage, making sure to leave a bit of extra room for the walls and door of the cage.

Using your ruler, draw a line at the top of the circle, to represent the roof of the cage. From there, measure four equally spaced lines, each at the same angle, and draw them downward to meet the circle at the bottom.
