How to Draw Funny Faces

When it comes to creating funny facial expressions on paper, all you need is a little imagination and practice. With just a few simple steps, you’ll be able to draw any expression your heart desires! Here’s how to get started.

Draw the Basics

First, draw a circle for the head. Then add two more circles for the eyes, and a line for the mouth. The eyes can be close together, far apart, or anything in between. When it comes to the mouth, you can make it wide and mischievous, narrow and bemused, or anything else you can think of.

Choose Your Expression

Now, let’s make this face come alive by adding an expression! Is your character happy, surprised, sad, or angry? Once you’ve chosen the expression, draw a line on either side of the mouth to indicate the direction of the lips. Make sure the lines aren’t too long, as this can make the facial expression appear a bit fake. Once you’re happy with it, start adding those gorgeous details.

Create Character

Drawing is all about creating that unique personality, so let your creativity run wild! Go ahead and add eyebrows, eyelashes, dimples, freckles, and curls to your character. The more details you add, the more distinct your character will look. So don’t be afraid to get creative!
