In order to sing a whistle note, you must first generate a high and pure tone. This can be accomplished by using either a natural or artificialy produced sound. The next step is to produce a firm and steady stream of air by forcefully exhaling through slightly pursed lips. Once you have a steady stream of air, direct it over the tongue and teeth and towards the roof of your mouth. When you have found the correct position, you will produce the desired note.<\/p>\n

The best way to sing a whistle note is to use a falsetto voice. If you try to use your regular voice, it will not work. Instead, you need to use a higher register that is not usually used for speech. This can be achieved by curling the tongue back and pushing air through a small opening between the teeth.<\/p>\n

PetrB Okeedoh, “whistle register” is a term for the extreme upper range past high falsetto, which is completely, more conventional terminology, a ‘head tone ‘ Falsetto is not rare, the head tone, rarer, but not extremely rare.<\/p>\n
