How To Draw A Balloon Dog

Drawing a balloon dog is not as hard as it looks. With a few simple steps, and a bit of creativity, you can create your very own balloon animal masterpiece. Here’s how!
Step 1: Grab two balloons, one for the muzzle and one for the body of your pup. If you don’t have balloons, you can use other inflated objects, like a sponge or a rubber ball.
Step 2: Create the mouth of your pup by tying the tails of the two balloons together. The tail should be tight enough that the two balloons stay glued together.
Step 3: Make the ears of your pup by tying the ends of the first balloon into small knots. Tie the ears above the mouth of your pup–they should look like little horns on a dog’s head.
Step 4: Give your pup some character by drawing on the second balloon with a permanent marker. Make sure to make your doodles large enough so they won’t pop when you blow up the balloon.
Step 5: Now that your pup is ready, it’s time to inflate it. Blow into the first balloon until it’s about two-thirds full. Before you seal it, twist the balloon to create a tail. This tail will give your pup some personality, not to mention offer an easy way to tie the two balloons together.
Step 6: Now that the body of your pup is ready, you can inflate the second balloon until it reaches its maximum size. Seal the balloon and gently press it against the first balloon to create your pup’s head.
Step 7: Give your pup some color by using construction paper or foil scrapbooks. You can also use buttons, ribbons, or other decorations. Be sure to attach the decorations to your pup with a glue gun.
Step 8: Finally, use a black marker to give your pup a few more details–like eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Now your pup is ready to meet the world!
It’s true– with these simple steps, you can bring your own fabulous pup to life! Balloons aren’t just for clowns anymore–with a little bit of creativity and imagination, you can have your own unique pooch!
Once your pup is finished, there are plenty of ways to play with your creation. You can have your pup star in its own play, join your kid’s favorite toy collection, or become your pet’s sidekick. Or, if you’d rather show it off, display your pup as a well-deserved badge of honor!
For some extra fun, take a group of friends and see who can make the most impressive pup! You can make it a competition and give out awards based on creativity or speed. You can also bring props into the mix, like a scarf or hat for your pup to wear.
