Drawing the Disco Ball Outline
Now that you have the right materials, you can start to draw your disco ball outline. This is the part of the process where you really get creative and have fun. Start by using your ebony pencil to draw out a small, simple circle. This will be the base of your disco ball. Then, use your plumb line to draw a few light lines forming an octagon shape in the circle. Get creative with it!
Bringing the Disco Ball To Life
Now for the really fun part – using your silver paint and paint brush to bring your disco ball to life! Take your silver paint and start creating a series of short, vertical strokes along the outside of the octagon shape you drew earlier. Be sure to make the lines as small and even as possible. Once that is done, get creative and draw some different shapes such as triangles and diamonds. Fill in the empty spaces with small dots. Now your disco ball is ready to be added to your artwork!
Finishing Up the Disco Ball Look
To complete the disco ball look, take your tracing paper and trace over your disco ball. Be sure to use a light touch, so that your tracing paper won’t tear. Once you have completed the tracing, use your pencil to draw in some fine details, like sparkles and stars. Now your disco ball is complete and ready to be added to your artwork. Enjoy your new disco ball!
