How To Draw A Panda Face
Drawing a panda face is really easy. All you need is some paper, pencil and a dash of creativity! With a few simple steps, you’ll be drawing panda faces in no time.
To start, you’ll want to sketch out a basic circle in the center of the paper. This creates the outline of the panda’s face. From there, add two curved lines coming up from the circle and arching outward to create the panda’s eyes. Off of each eye, add two curved lines to form the panda’s cheeks. Next, it’s time to start to fill in the fur on the panda’s face. You can draw rounder and longer shapes around the edges of the panda to give it a furry appearance. For further realism, add in texture to the fur by making some of the shapes wavier or drawn out more. To bring more dimension to the picture, add some highlights and shadows in the shape of short, slanted lines.
Once you have all of the fur drawn, you can start to add in the finer details. Trace a curved line about halfway down the panda’s face for the nose, and draw two small circles on either side for the nostrils. Add a couple of small curved lines near the sides of the snout for the panda’s whiskers. Finally, give the panda a pair of small ears at the sides of its head, and you’ll have a beautiful panda face on your hands.
Adding Color To Your Drawing
Adding color to your drawing can be a great way to make your panda come to life. Black and white are typically the most widely used colors in panda drawing, but it’s also possible to try out different shades to give the panda something a bit more unique.
Try adding in different shades of black, white, and even some light browns or tans. This can give the panda’s face and fur more texture and depth. To bring even more texture to the drawing, try using different techniques to layer your colors. You can use darker shades and lighter shades in order to bring out more highlights and shadows on the panda’s face.
For added fun, you can also use other colors like red, yellow and blue from time to time. Adding in some bright colors to the panda’s ears or cheeks can give it a playful look and make your panda drawing really stand out.

For a little bit of extra flair, you can add some funky sunglasses or hats, such as a beret, beanie, or even a bandana. You can also opportunity to add in some nice patterns, like polka-dots, stripes, or even a flower crown.
If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can even give your panda some clothing. Try out a bowtie or dress shirt, or even a scarf or cape. Have some fun with your design and make it totally unique.
