How To Draw A Rooster Easy

Art is essential to create beauty and imagination alive. Drawing a rooster can help transform people into a pleasant mood by allowing a chance to express your artistic skills. Whether you’re an experienced artist or a beginner, this step-by-step guide will have you drawing a cute, cartoon rooster in no time. Grab your pencil and paper and let your creative juices flow!

Step 1: Draw a Triangle

Start with a triangle with the tip pointing upwards. This will make the shape for the head of the rooster. Add two lines coming out at the bottom of the triangle. These lines should make a V shape. This is the neck and body of your rooster.

Step 2: Add the Beak and Eyes

Now add the beak by drawing a V shape near the tip of the triangle. On either side of the beak, draw two small ovals for the eyes. To make the rooster look even cuter, add three inverted V shapes below the eyes. That’s your rooster’s eyebrows!

Step 3: Draw the Wings

Now let’s get to drawing the wings. Connect the two lines that make up the neck with wavy lines to create the wings. Then add a dash near the bottom of the wings. This will be where the “feathers” go.

Step 4: Add the Tail and Legs

Let’s finish with the tail. At the end of the body draw a series of lines using a combination of straight and curved lines. Of course, you can draw the tail however you like, but this is the basic shape. Last but not least, draw two legs facing downwards at the bottom of the rooster. Use two lines facing inwards and draw circles at the end to create the feet.

Step 5: Color your Rooster

Finally, grab your crayons or markers and color your rooster! Depending on the rooster you have in mind, colors may vary. Have fun and experiment with colors to make your rooster unique. Additionally, if you add glitter or googly eyes the rooster will have an extra special look. Now stand back and admire your awesome work! You’ve just successfully created a rooster.
