How To Draw Pegasus
Pegasus is an iconic creature that has graced the imagination of many people around the world. Drawing a Pegasus is a relatively simple task – but it takes patience and a little practice. With these simple steps, you can draw this legendary creature in no time.
1.Gather Your Supplies
Before you begin, you’ll need a few items to help you get started. All you need is a pencil, paper, a ruler and an eraser. It’s also helpful to have an image of a Pegasus to serve as a reference. Once you have your supplies, you’re ready to move on to the next step.
2.Draw Out the Basic Shape
Step one is to draw out the basic shape of the Pegasus. Start with an oval shape for the neck, then draw two curves for the wings and a diamond shape for the body. This will form the skeleton for your Pegasus, and is the most important part of the drawing.
3.Add Details and More Lines
Now it’s time to really bring the Pegasus to life. Start adding details such as feathers, ears, eyes and a mane. Don’t forget to draw in the wings and tail. You can also add lines to give the body more definition and texture.
4.Shade and Color
Now that you have the basic structure of the Pegasus in place, it’s time to give it some color. Use a light colored pencil to add in some shading and highlights. You can also use a darker colored pencil to add in shadows and outlines.
5.Erase Any Mistakes
Mistakes are inevitable, but they can easily be fixed by using an eraser. Make sure to erase any stray lines or mistakes before you move on. Once the erasing is complete, you can move on to the next step.
6.Finish the Drawing
For the finishing touches of your Pegasus drawing, use a black felt-tip pen to draw out the basics such as eyes, mane and wings. You can even add in some sparkles and swirls for a magical touch. Once you’ve added the last details, your Pegasus drawing is now complete!
7.Practice, Practice, Practice!
Drawing is a skill that requires practice to master. Don’t be discouraged if your first attempt isn’t perfect – take some time to practice and hone your skills. Remember, practice makes perfect! With some patience and practice, you’ll be a Pegasus drawing master in no time.
