How To Draw Spiderman
Learning to draw Spiderman is a great way to show off your skills as an artist and impress your friends. Drawing Spiderman doesn’t have to be difficult; it’s all about having the right technique and practice. Here are some tips for how to draw the web-slinger.
1. Start With The Head
The most important part of learning how to draw Spiderman is to get his iconic head shape down. Start with a large circle and draw a curved triangle shaped line from it. Then, draw five smaller circles at the corners of the triangle. Finally, draw two curved lines from the lower circles and connect them to the top of the head. Now you have the basic shape for the hero’s head.
2. Add His Mask
Now, draw his mask over his head. Start by drawing two oval-like shapes on either side of the head and connecting the two points with a curved line. Then draw two Pointy shapes in the upper part of the circles and draw two small curved lines beneath the points to make the eyes. Finally, draw two curved lines above the eyes to make the webbed mask.
3. Draw His Body
Once you’ve drawn his head, it’s time to give him his famous spandex costume. Start with a circle at the bottom of the head and draw a curved line from the circle that hugs his body. From this line, draw four circles that attach to the arms and legs. Finally, draw two curved lines from the waist down to the ankles for the feet.
4. Draw His Accessories
Now you can draw Spiderman’s accessories, such as his web shooter and iconic backpack. Start by drawing a circle at the back of each hand and draw a curved line from one circle to the other. Make sure the line curves around the hand. Then draw a curved line from the back of the shoulders and down to the waist. Finally, draw two small rectangles attached to the back of the shoulders to represent the web shooters.
5. Color Him In
To bring your Spiderman drawing to life, start by coloring in his red and blue costume. Use light and dark shades to achieve a realistic effect. Once the costume is done, add the finishing touches such as shadows and highlights. You can also use white and black pencils to add texture and dimension.
6. Finalize The Drawing
When you are happy with your drawing, it is time to finalize it. Use an eraser to remove any mistakes and make sure the lines are smooth and sharp. Then, use a black pen to outline the entire drawing and bring out more details. Finally, you can use colored pencils to create highlights and shadows and give Spiderman more depth.
7. Draw More Spidey Poses
Once you are confident with your Spiderman drawing, you can practice more poses. Try to draw him in action poses such as swinging from his web or fighting bad guys.
