How To Draw A Bulbasaur
Are you looking for a way to spruce up your living room walls? Trying to impress your friends with your drawing skills? If so, you’ve come to the right place! Drawing one of the most iconic Pokémon characters, Bulbasaur, is the perfect way to bring some color and energy into your home.
Don’t worry if you don’t think you’re an artist – it’s easier than you think! All you need is a little bit of patience and practice. Plus, you don’t need any special tools or materials; all you need is a piece of paper and pen or pencil.
First, you need to draw the body. Sketch a circle in the middle of the paper. This will be the body of your Bulbasaur. Make sure the circle is large enough that any additional details, like arms and legs, won’t be too cramped.
Next, draw the eyes. Bulbasaur has two small eyes and two bigger eyes. Draw a medium-sized circle for the two medium-sized eyes, and two smaller circles for the two smaller eyes. Put them in the middle of the circle for the body.
Now it’s time to draw the arms and the legs. Bulbasaur has two short arms and two short legs. Draw four short curved lines extending from the circle for the body. Make sure to keep them short and relatively close together.
Draw the leaves next. Bulbasaur’s leaves are slightly curved and pointy at the end. Draw two symmetrical leaves in the middle of the circle for the body, starting from the bottom of the circle.
Now all that’s left to do is to draw the details. Bulbasaur has two white claws on the end of each arm and two white spikes on his back. Draw two small circles on the end of each arm and two longer curved lines to make the spikes on his back.
Finally, draw the eyes. Bulbasaur’s eyes are a little bit slanted and have a dark line in the middle. Draw two circles for the eyes, and then draw a dark line in the middle of each circle, starting from the top and curving downwards.
And there you have it, one beautiful Bulbasaur! Color it in with your favorite pencils or markers and you’ll have an incredible piece of artwork to hang on your wall or give to a friend! Just remember to practice, practice, practice and before you know it you’ll be an expert at drawing Bulbasaur.
Adding Texture
Once you’ve mastered the basics of drawing Bulbasaur, you can try to add some texture and depth to your drawing. For example, you can add some shading to give it a more realistic look. Start by finding the light source, such as a lamp or window, and use different shades of pencil to add shadows and highlights. You can also experiment with different lines to create texture, like making the leaves slightly wrinkled or adding small spikes to the sides of the body. Get creative and see what you come up with!
Adding Color
If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, try to add some color to your Bulbasaur drawing. Using colored pencils or markers is a great way to give it a vibrant and cheerful look. The main body of the Bulbasaur should be a green color, while its eyes should be a bright blue. To give it a unique look, you can add small details in different colors, like red spots on its leaves or orange spikes on its back.
Adding Details
Adding small details to your Bulbasaur drawing can really bring it to life! Try to include its signature trademark, the bulb on its back. You can draw a small, curved line running down from its head to the bottom of its body and then draw a small circle at the end. You can also draw small details on its arms and legs, such as wrinkles or stripes.
Final Touches
Finally you can add some final touches to complete your drawing. First, erase any unnecessary lines or smudges if you want your drawing to look neat and tidy. You can also make your drawing come alive by adding some motion lines or small sparkles around it. Now all that’s left to do is admire your masterpiece!
